During this week, in 601, I implemented the song “we wish you a merry Christmas for my innovation plan, students listened to the song and I asked for then to write about their wishes for Christmas and we sang together. I taught likes and dislikes to 602 with flashcards and images, I asked them about their likes, and they had to do a chart with the main activities that people like In their context. I practiced the pronunciation of the song jingle bells rock with the same grade. Every break I practiced the dance of the song jingle bells rock with some students from 601 and 602, I was very happy because I really like to teach them, and I felt very excited to present the dance jingle bells rock the next week.

Journal eight

During the last week, I implemented the song “last Christmas” by Wham in 601, I talked to them about George Michael,  a member of this group and I talked about the meaning of the song, also I talked about the romantic side of Christmas and I shared my own romantic experience in Christmas when I fell in love with my neighbor Daniel, it was something pure and innocent because I only looked at him and sometimes we talked but never happened something else. I played the song twice and students received the lyrics of the song and we sang together. Later, students had to draw about their ideal romantic Christmas, I said that this song is very special for me and I picked up their workbooks.

I practiced the dance with some students of 602, we practiced in my house too and we went to the center of Neiva to buy the clothes of the dance. On Thursday, we presented the dance and before that, I presented a surprise dance, an Indian song named o saki saki, everybody liked it , it was magnificent and beautiful, I was very proud of my students. Students who participated got a very good grade and this week I gave them their grades, only two students of my two groups failed English. I am going to miss them a lot, some students wrote to me a letter saying thanks to me about my English teaching.
